Early years

Peyman Qənbərov was born in Astara, Azerbaijan. From an early age, he developed a strong interest in meykhana and poetry, writing his first poems during his school years.

Discovering rap

He first encountered rap through tracks by international artists played on the radio and on his friends’ phones. Hüseyn Dərya was the first Azerbaijani rapper he heard. Later, discovering the H.O.S.T collective by chance deepened his interest in the local rap scene.

Over time, he added tracks by many well-known Azerbaijani rap artists to his playlists. Although he felt closest to lyrical rap, listening across different styles helped shape his musical taste.

The beginning of his creative journey

Peyman wrote his first lyrical rap text at the age of 16. From 2017 onward, he began making song drafts for himself and sharing them with family and close friends. Those private experiments eventually led to “Unuduram”, his first official release.

Ten days after “Unuduram”, BadPerson and Peyman released “Uduzdum” on YouTube on 21 June 2024; Peyman appears in the second verse. Released on 30 March 2026, his collaboration with Sorgon, “Bilmirəm”, is chronologically his third song available online.
